IMPORTANT!!!

Sorry for the late notice, but we just found out that several people from the NJ State Park Service are going to be touring Jungle Habitat tomorrow morning, Saturday December 19. They are doing so to gather information to decide the future of the park. We would like to show as many people as possible using the park (legally). It doesn't need to be riding - bring your dog (leashed please!), hike with your kids - whatever! They will be there from 8:30 a.m. tomorrow morning until about 10:30 a.m. We'd really like to have a good show of force in terms of use, so if you could spare some time, we'd really appreciate it!

No Wednesday night ride for December 9th

Between the snow on the ground (yes, for those of you south of West Milford - we got more than 6" on Sat!), and the mess that is coming tonight and tomorrow, we're going to stay inside and watch the yule log video on Wednesday night. Check back in with us later in the week - we'll try to get something together for this weekend, weather permitting!

Mountain Bike Ride, Sat. Dec. 5th

We are going to try to beat the winter weather so meet us at 9 a.m. at the top of Skyline Drive Sat. a.m. It will be a moderate paced ride, and we'll ride for 2.5 to 3 hours. Any questions, email us at info@teamtowncycle.com.

Wednesday night ride CANCELED!

OK, according to the weather maps, it should be raining fairly soon, so we're going to cancel for tonight. We'll keep trying - look for us next week!


Hopefully we'll get a ride together for this weekend - if the weather cooperates! So stay tuned!

Wednesday Night Ride, Dec. 2 - Weather Permitting!

We're going to plan for our Wednesday night ride - be ready to ride by 6:30, meeting at Town Cycle. As usual this time of year, weather can be a factor. There is supposed to be some rain moving in tomorrow night - some places say later at night, some a little earlier. Check back in with us on our blog or at Twitter by 4-4:30, and we'll let you know if we need to cancel!

Jungle Habitat Caution

A very disturbing event has occurred in Jungle Habitat which we feel we should notify our local riders about. Please read the announcement over at JORBA's site - http://tinyurl.com/yawgrnf . We urge everyone to exercise caution if riding in the area, and if you see anything suspicious, don't touch anything - please call the West Milford Police at 911 immediately. JORBA will work with some local trail ambassadors to make sure our mountain biking trails are cleared within the next few days - check back at the JORBA site as they list the trails that have been checked.

Wednesday Night Ride!

Weather looks decent for Wednesday, so let's do it! It's time another exciting night time mountain bike ride. Meet at Town Cycle, be ready to ride by 6:30 p.m., make sure those lights work and are fully charged, and bring a red blinker if you have one! Rain will cancel.
